Change your home and work locations

Your home and work locations are synced with the Google Maps settings on your mobile device. However, you can manually set these addresses.

Change your home and work locations

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Google Home device.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. In the top left corner of the app's Home screen, tap Menu Menu.
  4. Verify that the Google Account listed is the one linked to Google Home.  To switch accounts, click the triangle next to the account name.
  5. Tap More settings and then Personal info and then Home and work locations.
  6. Type your home & work addresses. 
  7. To edit a home or work address, tap the current address and then type a new address and then tap OK.
  8. To remove a home or work address, tap the X next to the address.
