Here are some ways to talk with your Google Assistant on Google Home about local places and information.

To do this:
Say "Ok Google" or “Hey Google," then...
Hear nearby locations

“Where are pharmacies nearby?", “Any ATMs nearby?”, “Find me a restaurant”

Hear business phone number
“What is the phone number for the nearest Walgreens?”
Hear business address

“What is the address for Walgreens in Pacifica?”

Hear business open hours
"Is the Walgreens on Middlefield open right now?”

Important: Be specific with your query to hear the correct local business information.

Troubleshooting

If your Google Assistant on Google Home doesn't provide the local business information you expected,

  1. Confirm your Google Home device address .
  2. Be more specific with your request by saying the business name or more details.
