Learn More: Relink backdrop settings

Follow these steps to relink your Backdrop settings.

Please note: You will need to complete the below steps for each of the Chromecast devices you'd like to relink.
  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is signed into the same Wi-Fi account as your Chromecast device.
  2. If you haven’t already, sign in using a Google account.
  3. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  4. In the upper right corner of the home screen, tap Devices Devices to see your available Chromecast devices. 
  5. In the top right corner of the device you'd like to set up with Backdrop, tap the device card menu Menu > Backdrop Settings.
  6. Tap Backdrop Settings > Allow (or OK) to accept the Terms and Conditions > Select your backdrop preferences.
