Turn notifications on or off

You can receive notifications like reminders on Google Home devices. This includes Google Home, Google Home Mini, and Google Home Max.

Turn notifications on or off

  1. Make sure your mobile device or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi as your Google Home device.
  2. Open the Google Home app Google Home app.
  3. In the top left corner of the app's Home screen, tap Menu Menu.
  4. Verify that the Google Account listed is the one linked to Google Home.  To switch accounts, click the triangle next to the account name and email address.
  5. Tap More settings. 
  6. Under "Devices," tap the Google Home device.
  7. Turn "Notifications" on On or off Off.
